Terrell’s rise to prominence since 2021 has been remarkable. His debut track, “Suffocate,” showcased his underground approach by fusing R&B with a Latin vibe, creating a sound that was sensual, flavorful, and left audiences wanting more.
He began making music at the age of 16, initially focusing on gospel and R&B. Over the course of a decade, his sound evolved into a new wave project known as “RnBachata,” which began attracting attention from listeners throughout the southern United States.
Known for his inventive range of R&B inspired music that blends minimal, progressive, and unique forms of Bachata, Terrell’s sound resists easy categorization. However, several signature elements consistently appear throughout his catalog, including emotive melodic development, creative use of incidental sounds, and the incorporation of Latin style drums and percussion. These elements combine to drive his continually evolving sound.
With multiple projects currently in the works, this is only the beginning. As many have said, “Relleo has a mission, and he will do whatever it takes to accomplish it.”
