Alana and Esteban, artists based in the San Francisco Bay Area, CA are the founders of A&E Dance Company and organizers of Sensual Saturdays. They’ve been mentored and certified by the founders of Bachata Sensual, Korke and Judith, in addition to training with top instructors in Spain, including Berra and Laura, Pamela and Carlos, and many others.
A&E Dance was born from Alana and Esteban’s shared passion for Bachata Sensual and their desire to build the dance community. They focus on teaching safe leading and following techniques that empower students on the dance floor. In addition to their weekly classes, Alana and Esteban travel to conduct workshops and spread the love of Bachata Sensual.
Alana and Esteban have amassed over 32 years of dance experience. Prior to training in and then teaching Bachata Sensual, Alana danced ballet, jazz and contemporary as a part of Out on a Limb Dance Theatre Company, and Esteban a part of Compañía Ballet Folklórico México Danza.
